Fitness is fun!
Funcercise for children highlights ramps, horses, beams and quadpods.
Senior adult fitness programs highlight basic movement with exercise and dance. I work with all individuals to increase their flexibility, strength and endurance so they can increase or maintain their level of fitness and participate in lifelong leisure activity and sports.
In Funcercise for children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities, I utilize both the equipment and exercise routines.
Offering children and individuals with autism and developmental disabilities challenge them to solve problems and work together. In addition, they increase their fitness levels, improve their brain function and develop the movement patterns that support them in school, on the field and throughout life.
Paddling is an Art.
Learn how to paddle, maneuver your kayak or canoe, swamp and rescue your boat. Learn how to paddle safely, explore quiet waters and develop a leisure skill that they can enjoy with friends and family.
I offer a 3 or 5 hour Introduction to Canoeing course for those interested in becoming skilled canoeists. It covers safety, rescues, equipment, strokes and maneuvers.
